Specific Aims of the CORE Center

  1. To develop and increase capacity-building and sustainable community partnerships to support community-based participatory education, research, training, screening, and treatment to reduce cancer disparities.
  2. To develop community-based participatory research programs to reduce cancer disparities.
  3. To develop community-based participatory education and training programs to reduce cancer disparities.
  4. To provide culturally appropriate services across the spectrum of cancer care, with a consideration of socioeconomics, language, literacy, culture, and comorbidities.
