Experimental Pathology
Overview
The NYU Experimental Pathology Shared Resource System provides services for the microscopic analysis of tissues for clinical as well as experimental animal model studies. Administrative integration of the specific cores supports the seamless exchange of samples, information, and expertise between the different functional units, and facilitates directed "match-making" between investigators located at different sites and within different clinical and basic research departments. Experimental Pathology Cores closely interface with Tissue Acquisition and Banking Services (TABS), promoting collaborations necessary for novel translational studies.
The Experimental Pathology Shared Resource System is divided into three Cores:
- The Histopathology Core, Manhattan
- The Histopathology Core, Sterling Forest
- The Immunohistochemistry Core (IHC)
Services are geared toward both animal and human studies.
