Histopathology Core, Sterling Forest
The Histopathology Core, Sterling Forest provides large-volume, high-throughput histology services for the environmental exposure studies involving primarily, though not exclusively, animal models.
Services
Services at the Sterling Forest facility are uniquely geared toward the experimental needs of NYU Cancer Institute members located on the Sterling Forest campus and others who wish to perform animal carcinogen treatments.
Researchers at this site are able to initiate tissue fixation immediately following necropsy and to process high volumes of specimens relatively quickly.
Customized services can be provided and existing services varied according to the needs of the research community.
