Purpose

The laboratory is designed for the production and monitoring of experimental immunotherapies for patients with cancer or chronic viral infections. Types of immuntherapies include cellular therapies (such as dendritic cell vaccines, T cell lines, or tumor cells transfected with cytokine genes), or simple antigen/adjuvant mixtures. Although our focus is on immunotherapies, the facility has the flexibility to be used to produce virtually any type of therapy featuring manipulated human cells.
